Ebony A-Spec wheel picture

Hey guys, I have a request. I am looking for any pictures of an 07-08 TL with the Ebony A-spec wheels. I have seen a lot with the gunmetal and also the black chrome which some have called ebony chrome. I cant seem to find any with specifically the ebony a-spec wheels or I cant tell if its the ebony or ebony chrome? There are several ebony for sale in the black market section and I am trying to decide if I want to buy a set. Thanks all!!

I know I am so confused because they look possibly like the hyper silver color, but I don't think I have seen any pics of that on a car. Anyone have any?? However, the part number Honda Part# 08W18-SEC-200B that he lists in that sale is the black chrome one. I'm so lost now! ?!?!?

I knew this thread was around but not sure it helps totally. Lists pictures and part numbers, still confusing.

your links don't work...

but i always thought there were just 3 colors

-the "grey""04 was an 8.5 width and is rare/hard to find
-then another "grey" wheel that is 8' width(much more readily available)
-then a "chrome" 8" wide wheel

but I'm sure an expert will chime in soon...

The link above is my set of wheels for sale. Not sure if you were referring to my add regarding the part number, but the numbers you listed definitely are not the part number I listed in my add so maybe you were referencing a different add. The part number for my wheels is SEP 880B and are absolutely NOT chrome. As far as I know the actual Acura name for them is "ebony/silver" which can be considered a dark gray or "gunmetal" color. Again, they are not chrome. Some confusion might come from the color changing aspects of the ebony/silver finish. I think it's a multi stage paint process so the wheels look different depending on the lighting conditions. Notice one pic in my add the wheels can almost be considered chrome, and others they look dark gray.

From my understanding there are 3 finishes available on the newer 18x8" aspec wheel. "Black chrome" (just a fancy name for regular chrome). "Sparkle silver" (just your standard silver painted wheel), and lastly "ebony/silver" which is more like a gunmetal or charcoal colored finish. IMO ebony silver is the best color available as I'm not a chrome kinda guy, and bright silver is just too bright for me.

Hopefully this helps clarify things. So just remember, 3 finishes available!! Using simple terms they are "silver", "gunmetal", and "chrome". My wheels for sale would be the "gunmetal" wheels part number SEP 880B. Let me know if you need anything else.

PS, if you want text me at 847-769-7307 and I can get you some pics of when I had them mounted on my 07 TL which might help give you an idea how they look.

I think JTS has got it right for 18x8's. I think the confusion is coming in with differentiating between the chrome and ebony - which tend to look similar in pics at times.
