To drop or not to drop

Got a '04 SSM with Navi. Im considering a drop but i dont know how i feel about dropping a mid-luxuries car considering the roads in Montreal are terrible. Every block has an average of 2-3 potholes, some you cant even avoid (it's horrible here in montreal ughh...). Anyways, is there alternitives to dropping? Sounds silly but would getting the A-spec kit make the car look lower?

My main question is, does anyone have before and after pics of a A-spec tl before and and after install? I want to see the stance of the car and how it looks like once it's installed.

Ps, i got a quote for the a-spec kit priced at 1300$ tax in and installed from a local dealer - is it a good price?

Thanks guys...

Stance is not too noticeable, the drop is not that much .5" but the feel is very very different. My friend has an A Spec Auto and I have an OEM suspension on my SSM 6spd, and I thing his car was a lot bumpier when I was in the drivers seat than mine was.

When I was in the rear with the car loaded with passengers I didn't really notice the suspension difference, but that could also be due to the car being loaded with passengers.

I just upgraded to A Spec wheels, and let me tell you, already with the 18s and the ES100 tires the ride is worse.......it doesnt feel like a luxury car anymore, tire noise is excessive. I am thinking of going back to my other wheels again, or getting really quiet tires for the a spec wheels.

Does the 756$ group buy come with the kit already painted?

DeadLock, thank you for the feedback exactly what i wanted to know. I think im just going to keep the car the way it is and go for the aero kit only - id hate to feel more bumps then i already do so

Factory A-Spec body kits come painted to match your vehicle. No need to repaint.

Unfortunately, the group buy is over, but you might be able to start it up again.

For $1300 you can get the Tein SS coilovers with the EDFC for that price and the beauty of it, you can adjust the height that you want. Also check ebay for the A-Spec body kit deals.
