Do 18'' Wheels help torque steer any?

I've got an 2004 6spd in need of tires soon and right now it has the factory 17''s. I was thinking about going with 18" OEM so I could get a better deal on wheels and tires together, plus I like the look a little more.

I haven't any idea on what the performance, handling, and road noise would be like with bigger rims though so I don't know if their worth it or not.

Torque steer, the manny isn't as bad as some people think but yes it is their. That is why I was wondering if anyone noticed a difference after putting on the 18s.

Any positive or negetives would be great.

No difference in the mild torque steer with 18's.
