Hey guys.. is it worth getting the summer tires from the dealer? I'm thinkin getting a 06 TL..

are these tires wider? Do you guys know what brand? Do they sell the tires for Auto TLs or is it only for 6speed TLs

i don't believe any of us have an '06. perhaps Acura's website might know more?

looks like just the 6mt is avail. w/ hp tires.
just make sure whatever you get doesn't have Turanza's on it and you'll be fine-

 

They are the same size, only available on the 6-speed..and IMO are worth it because there's only a $200 upcharge for them. If you live in an area where there's any chance of snow, don't get them. I drove my old Audi A4 Quattro once in the snow on summer tires, and it was literally like driving on a skating rink. Sure, I could accelerate OK, but had NO ability to stop or turn. I just bought summer tires for my TL, but I also bought an '89 Accord for $500 for the snow.
