Dealer says these are factory rims on '07??

Hi everyone. Hoping to purchase an '07 TL tomorrow. However, I'm concerned about the wheels on a car. The dealer is adamant that the wheels are original from the factory (the car has one previous owner, car has 13k miles), yet in looking at more than 50 2007 TLs, I've never seen another car with these wheels.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Pics would help lol...or a description...

04-06 had the 16" 5 spoke "starish" wheels...silver color.
06-08 base has a 16" 6 split spoke thats a silver color
07-08 type-s has the 17" gunmetal cube looking wheels...

All aspecs look pretty much the same, although lips and widths are different from different years...these are either silver, gunmetal, or chrome. These are also 18"...

Stupid dealer, those are obviously TSX wheels.

I hate salespeople like that, so adamant about something when they are wrong, uninformed, or just plain ignorant.

Depends. Did he say they were "Factory TL Wheels" or "Factory Wheels"?

The 1st way, the sales guy is an idiot; the 2nd way he's a dick and a weasle.

It's always good to know if the guy you're dealing with is just dumb or if he's a slimeball.

Better check the tire size, also the wheels are only 7.5" wide

I worked at honda for a year selling cars. Generaly it can only be certified if its at another honda/acura dealer. Independent dealers can claim certification, but that is mostley a 50/50 waranty. They will pay half if you pay half on a waranty thing. But certified is usually under a certian amount of miles, one owner, no accidents (sometimes fender benders don't count), and if the work was done by a dealership. MOST of the time, sometimes its different. We had idiot sales ment that were always "right" when obviosly wrong.
