Curbed my OEM wheels, what to do?

I took a turn too sharp like an idiot and curbed 2 of my rims, one pretty bad. They aren't out of round but I hate seeing them all curbed up. Is it cheaper to have them repaired or just buy 2 from Ebay or online? Anyone know a decent place to get them repaired for a good price? Thanks.

This car has been a jinx on me since I got it, but I still love it.

How to paint your wheels.

Paint them. They offer a color that is almost a perfect match for the original paint... or you could go with a different color.

I thought about painting them but 1 is gouged and it needs to be fixed.

Anyone hear of these guys? http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com/

How bad is the gouge? I was able to blend out some pretty deep gauges on mine. Wouldn't even be to hard to fill them yourself with some glazing compound... that's all the wheel repair companys do.

As far as Mobilewheelrepair goes, I have never personally used them but I have heard some great feedback on the guy that runs it in my area. The people I've talked to said the prices were reasonable and they couldn't tell the wheels had been repaired when he was done... They looked brand new.

I've used them before and they are fast and do a good job. They are pretty inexpensive too. Since you need two done they might cut you a deal.

Thanks for the help guys. I called the local mobilewheelrepair guy and he is going to come by my house today Hopefully have both the rims fixed for $200 which would be the cost of a used rim on Ebay. I'll let you guys know how good of a job they do. The guy seems really cool.

I curbed 1 of my new wheels on my 07 TL-S. The grey wheels. Its about 30% around the wheel and 1/4" wide! I am not happy. 1 month ago somebody keyed down the entire side of it! Now I have to spend $1,100 for paint job. Can this wheel be fixed? Its not bent, just ground down. Otherwise it's another $300 for a new wheel. CAN I SAY CREDIT CARD TIME.

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that www.mobilewheelrepair.com fixed my wheels and it looks unbelievable. I cant believe the work they did.

1. They came to my house
2. They fixed the wheels
3. They perfectly color matched them (pearl looks seamless)

He fixed both wheels for $150 (which is less than a used rim on Ebay). It was totally worth the money.

For any Philly area people call James Walker from mobilewheelrepair.com (215)-450-1160.

Glad to here you got it fixed. For that price, I might just let them do it next time instead of fixing it myself. I think the time it would take me to do it myself is worth more than what they charged you.
