curbed my Aspecs. Help me pick a new color

Just curbed my rims pretty good and probably won't be able to stand to leave them that way for long. Probably gonna have a DIY project on my hands this weekend.

Just trying to decide on a color. I was thinking either gunmetal or black. I have a black roof overlay that I want to put on so I was thinking that black wheels would match nicely.

Here is a pic of my car. Let me know what you think, and if you have any pics of black or aftermarket gunmetal painted Aspecs that would be cool too.

I would definetly say gunmetal.
You might want to add a poll to this thread.

can anybody recommend what brand of paint to use? I tried going on the Duplicolor site but they have so many different kinds of paint, and I don't know which type is appropriate for wheels.

I figured this is as good of a place to ask as any...where is the best place to find a set of A-Specs? I've been keeping my eye on the forums here, as well as on ebay.

check on the black market and ebay. If you want a NEW set cheap, check out wheelsandcaps.com. Tons of BMW folks buy Factory wheels from there for a good price. I believe all 18's and 19's are on sale for 899 shipped.

You should consider powder coating the wheels. I had my A-spec rims powder coated gloss black on my NHBP 3G TL & they came out great. They will hold up much better than painting the rims & will resist chemical rim cleaners & tire dressing.

Why can't we edit our own thread or posts?? That's pretty retarded in my opinion and I think it should be changed ASAP!

Gunmetal. IMO the contrast between SSM and the gunmetal is perfect. And I'm not just saying it because that is how I am set up.

Gunmetal FTW. The black A-Specs were well done but they don't give enough contrast between the wheel and tire.
