Question Correct Tire Pressure

I currently own an 03 TL-S and am trying to find out the recommended tire pressure for an 06 5AT TL for comparison purposes. I've done a search but have gotten conflicting reports. Obviously, I don't have a manual or car to refer to. Thanks in advance for helping with this...

My '05 5AT recommends 32F/32R on the door sill plate (I run 36F/33R on mine, though) while 35F/32R is recommended for the '05 6M. Those are for stock 17" wheels, not for 18" A-specs.
I've seen posters in the Tires, Wheels thread indicate their non-A-spec '06 5AT recommended pressure is 33F/32R.

Thanks Will Y. That is what I had thought but can't seem to figure out why the 06 TL's have different recommended pressures than the 05's...

Thanks for the responses on this. So, it seems like the 05 5AT TL is 32psi front/rear and 06 5AT TL is 33/32. I believe the manual versions of each are 35/32 front/rear. Is this because the manuals have stiffer RSB? Does anyone think they may have beefed up the RSB on the 06 5AT TL's?

If you change your wheels, what should the correct tire pressure be? I upgraded the stock 17s to 18s, but I'm not sure how much air to keep in them.

The 6 MT's come with A-spec suspension, which means different
alignment settings as well as different tire pressure settings, ie:35F/32R

Tire pressure for 18" A-Spec wheels

When you buy the A-Spec wheels, you receive a new door sticker stating tire pressure should be 39psi front / 36psi rear. I was shocked when I first saw 39psi for the front tires but this is really what they suggest.

Wait a tick, I have a 6MT and the A-Spec suspension is not standard. The suspension for the 6MT is firmer than the AT but def not A-Spec. The A-Spec still has to be purchased separately.

Not according to Acura and my dealer. The specs for the "05 TL 6MT are unfortunately no longer on the website, so I pulled the specs on the '07, and made a comparison to my printed version from '05.
The front and rear stabilizer bars are the same at 27mm front, and 20mm rear
On 05/07/05, the dealer downloaded the new alignment specs to align my '05. They were the same specs as for the auto w/A-Spec !
While waiting to get my work done, the parts guy and I had a little fun comparing P/N's for the shocks. The spring rates were the same ! I even went as far as comparing the diameter of the front strut tower brace. Guess what? They were the same !
I don't have the added weight of 18" wheels/tires and body kit, which is fine by me.
I did replace the Bridgestones with Michelin Pilot A/S before I even took delivery.
I have had three MR2's in my past automotive arsenal as comparison, and I haven't seen anything keep up with me in the curves yet.....and I'm LOVIN' it!

oK, you're talking about the 2007 TL Type S. This would make sense to have the A-spec suspension as stock. Previous years for the 6MT did not have A-Spec (shocks and springs)suspension.
