Cooper Zeon RS3-A

Putting 18" wheels on a 2005 TL and have had the Cooper Zeon RS3-A recommended to me.

Has anybody run this tire in this configuration? 235/40-18

Any feedback would be appreciated.

never tried rs3a but had rs3-s on my tsx for 2 years. They are one of the best tires i've had. Had 5 - 6 track days on them, very quiet, good grip, very good thread life.

few friends had zeon zpt and said there are not bad.

Hmm… that was sorta the point in getting the "all season" version. No good for snow huh?

Nope .. not a bit .. if they don't have the snow flake on a mountain symbol they aren't.

Zeons are excellent

Late to the game on this reply but I put the RS3-A on my 07 TL last year and they perform consistently for me even in light snow.

That being said I live in one of the snowiest places in the continental US (east shore of Lake Ontario) so I throw a set of Blizzaks and black steel wheels on from December to March.

Coopers will do fine if you're talking inches not feet and you know how to drive in the snow.

I'm about to pull the trigger on 2 new tyiz and the Cooper RS3-A's will cost me $88 LESS than the Michelin
A/S 3's. After reading the reviews in Consumer Reports, they seem like a great deal. Even the individual owner reviews for this tire are glowing.

Those of you that picked up the cooper's, how have you like them? I saw the consumer report reviews too and a few other obscure reviews. The consumer report reviews and the price make them almost too good to Passover. I bought my car cert pre owned and the dealership had Kumho Ecsta AST on them and I haven't been overly impressed. They've pooped out on me after 26k. Everyone and their dog seem to go for the Conti DWSs on this site. But, again, price is $250ish more than Coopers. And the michelin's pilot as3s are even more expensive. Are these other two THAT much better? Only negative I can find is with gas mileage. But that's not consistently reported. Thoughts?
