Coilovers

Coilovers
so im torn between 2 different setups, love the reviews that both BC Racing and the XLR8 ISCs are getting, im leaning more towards the ISCs but not sure which setup, the street/comfort, or the street/sport
been reading alot of threads and alot are saying the street comfort are great but then theres some sayin they are too soft,
so then i think about goin to the street/sport setup and read that ppl think the BC rare to stiff, which is the same spring rate as the front of the street/sport setup on the ISCs
did i loose anybody yet? lol
now what are u guys running with these 2 brand coilover kits? and preference??

yes I do.
what one person likes is going to be different than you.
The BC's arent that popular here. So, you'll get A LOT MORE PPL that chime in with ISC's.
again, Stiffness is subjective.
what one person finds too soft; another will find it just right.
instead of asking a subjective question; ask yourself which brand and its specs fit you and your goals.

Get ready to live with your decision, you may have to sell what you buy to get the feel you like. Trial and error. Or alot of tinkering with one set up to get the ride you like.

you can take some ones subjective review and order a set of coilovers.
But what happens if you dont like it?
do you get mad at the reviewer?
Do you live with it?
these reviews are more of a suggestion than anything.
the best you can do is read the reviews and pick a coilover.
price, ease of use, availability would also sway my decision.
also, nyordms, you never told us your goals.
What are your goals for the car?
your goals for the car is a big important factor when choosing mods.
Do you want to slam the FUUU out of the car?
are you interested in damping the shocks to cater towards your personal comfort level?
are you more into performance or are you doing it to look hella fly?

Like I said I'm leaning more towards the isc like many have, my goal is daily driven, I do t plan on slamming the fuuuu outta it, just minimize the wheel gap, I like the features of the isc and everything ppl have to say about them, I'm just having problems figuring out which kit I want, I had coilovers on my previous ride which I made. Had 400lb springs in the front and 300 in the rear, rode nice but front was alil soft,
I'm torn lol

If you desire a firmer ride like I do. Don't waste your time with the ISC street/comfort and go straight for the street/sport.
Or buy my ISC street/comforts so I can buy the street/sports.
Just remember the rule of thumb.
Any coils under $1000.00 are pure garbage. Just ask subpar-u. He will tell you.

There's actually a significant amount of feedback on the forum about our XLR8 ISC coilovers. They have more adjustment in damping and ride height than the TEIN and they include aluminum top hats. Plus they include options for spring rates and a 2 year warranty that is done in the US.

I'm not looking for a plush ride like I'm in a caddy, lol but I don't want it so stiff that there's hardly any movement,
