Coilover adjustment

I looked over the slammed TL thread and wow you guys have some nice cars.

I was wondering how it works with height adjustment and coilovers. I see there are threads and a large looking nut. Do you guy have to lift your car up and remove the wheels to adjust them ?

How do you make sure your car is level side to side ect ect.

If you are slammed how long does it take you to raise your car up ?

Sorry if this is a dumb question

Remove wheels and loosen large looking nut. Once loose, the threaded area is a separate body that can rotate. Normally you measure the length of the threads and do the other side accordingly. Hope this helps

If you lived in an area where you raised your car for the winter would you need to do an alignment each time you change ride height ?

What kind of coils you have?

Some coilovers are different to adjust height..but they are all easy to do..Once you lower it u never going to raise it again...lol

/\ me ? Oh maybe I was not clear I'm stock. Just trying to understand how the coilovers work. I like the idea of not going to low.

Maybe try a spring and shock combo....might work best for you if you only want a mild drop, still able to drive in the winter with no problem
