Cleaning Brake Rotors

I needed some advice on how to clean the brake rotors because they've been really white and built up with shit and it looks really bad. Plus the disks are not turning orange-ish so idk what to use to clean them. Any help would be appreciated

normal use will knock the overnight moisture induced surface rust off them.
For the areas not in contact with the pads- duplicolor makes a nice caliper paint kit- or use BBQ paint for the edges of the rotor and the center hub

If your rotors are not shiny on the face after a few blocks of using them- have it looked at.
If you live in coastal areas- change the brake fluid every year starting at year 1- instead of waiting till year 3 as acura says for regular service vehicles

I have the 18' A-spec wheels on mine and the non-contact areas of the rotors look like crap (rust color). I like your suggestion of using painting the area. Waiting for it to warm up a bit here in Texas before the project. Anybody else out there paint the non-contact areas of the rotors on their car? Color suggestions?
