CL-S rims on a '99, rubbing with 215/50-17??

I know this has been covered in some posts in the past, but will CL-S rims with stock tires (215/50-17) rub on a '99? Car has stock suspension.

From what I gather from past posts:

preferred tire size with CL-S rims is 225/45-17 which I plan to put on sometime in the future

'99's have a slightly different front suspension setup than 2000+, so rubbing may be a problem

Thanks, and sorry about asking for information that's been posted before, but the search engine doesn't allow searches with words with less than 3 characters (i.e. cl-s)

You should have NO problem even if you are lowered with comptech or HR springs.

with that +55 offset, it's hard to get your tires to rub.
