Has anyone tried taking their stock rims to get them chromed? Reason why im asking is because 1 or 2 of my tires are curbed.... I dont plan on spending money to get new rims b/c the tires are brand new. I was thinking if I get it chromed it would cover the curb mark... and change the look on the TL...

Has anyone tried this? Pics? Would this fix the curb mark?

btw if you do end up curbing your rim after putting the chrome on its much more expensive to fix.

Las Vegas Acura sold me a set of OEM Chrome wheels for $700 shipped.

I turned around and sold my 3 OEM rims for 100-150 each on Ebay. The 4th was curbed and I still have it.

It was much cheaper this way than having my OEMs fixed and chromed.

I was just thinking about my options to see what I could do with my current rims... I just want to keep the tires, since they are brand new.

There are pic in the photo gallary under "Royel Blue Pearl" . VERY sharp, but I dont

think that person has curb-rash.
