Chrome Lip Repair Store In Maryland ?
Anyone know of anyone that can repair a little scratch/curb rub on a chrome lip in Montgomery County, MD (I live around the Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown area)?
I hurt my precious little rims ... damn me!!

It's hard to just repair a chrome section/lip of a rim. You would need to provide additional information about your rims/wheels. For example, are they multi-piece??? what color???? what finish??? etc.
FYI... I scratched one of my rims chrome lip and because they are one piece with black face it was less expensive to just buy a new rim....

They are good but they take forever! Wait til winter hits full force and you switch back to the factory wheels. That way there is really no down time for you.

Hey guys.
its a one piece, black faced rim, with chrome lip. I can post pics at the end of the week. So pissed it happened. Its 400 a rim, so we'll see how much a shop will charge to repair something like my wheel. Check my link in the photo gallery for regular pics of my rims for an idea if u wanna see for further advice of what I should do. Thanks

I called the place above in elkridrdge and they said they doubht they can repair it. That means I'd have to buy new rims. They said maybe they could shave the scratch down and then polish it OR I could get the whole wheel dipped in chrome again and then get the black painted again. Because black rims with chrome lips are all orginally chrome rims with the center painted black. So getting it dipped and painted again would be close to the cost of a new rim. I guess I gotta keep my scratched rims till at least next spring. They'll be off for the winter anyway.
So blown, ha.
