Can 19-8.5" work, or is it just too wide? I know one guy has this set up, but i dont know how it worked out. I really dont want any problems with my wheels, so I think this may be pushing it. Rory

The wheels is a enkei Aegis, the price is $1700 for Chrome 19-8.5 in 44 offset. The guy who is selling them said that he sold a set to a guy with a TL and he had coil overs and he said that you can lower that car 2.5 inches before they rub. IS this true? Will the wheels be sticking out the side of the car? I dont know what to make of this. Rory

Ya they have been dicontinued for as long as I have been looking for rims, about 5 months. I really like the rim, they dont look like anything speacial till you see them in person. But i dont want a nice rim that rubs and sticks out too far.... what would you guys do? Rory

It is a fact that in the US they are dicontinued. I am very very good at searchign the net for what I want and every wheel shop I have talked to, probable 50, has told be that they wont be getting any more. But the wheel I am still going to buyis the Enkei Aegis, I jsut have to find the right size and equally important fofr me the right price, and I think I found it. Im prety sure im going to buy Chrome Enkei Aegis 19-8.5 44 offset for about $2000 shipped, this isnt the best deal in the world but there aren't very many of these wheels for sale in our specs. Rory

Unhappy

Wow that is too bad. I really like that wheel. Seems pretty dumb to discontinue it. maybe they have some left over in Japan. I'll check it out.

THAT sounds sweet. Nice wheel design, good size, and they would tuck in nicely. Now if the price was under $1500....

I didn't check because the highest offset I could find was 45MM on a 19X8 wheel. Want to check those?

For those of you looking to buy Enkei Aegis Chrome...there was a guy on the Lexus board selling his used 19(for sure) x 8.5(I think). He was selling them for $1200 w/ pretty good tires.

PM or email me and I'll give you his address.
