with a minor drop like that i don't really think you require a rear camber kit...

but i suppose it doesn't hurt to get one to be on the safe side. if that's the case i would recommend Ingalls

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Ingalls-C...-pr-50003.html

or

http://store.excelerateperformance.c...5/i-60220.aspx

you will need 2. One for the rear left, one for the rear right, total price should be ~$150

no you don't need a camber kit for that, just get the toe in check and you'll be fine.

Generally you shouldn't need a camber kit with that drop but it depends on the car.

I'd drop it then get the alignment checked after a week or so ..

I had near the same drop and 18s and I needed a kit because the camber was too far off stock.

As each car is different, let the alignment determine if a kit is necessary. if out of spec, install the needed kit(s).

Turbo speaks the truth (he always does!). I lowered on H&R Sports Springs, didn't have to get a rear camber kit. But I got an Eibach Kit-just to be on the safe side.

I have the exact same set-up, TEIN S-Tech springs with A-Specs.

I didn't NEED the rear camber kit, but I drive a lot, so I got one anyways. A camber kit is cheaper than a new set of tires

You should install the rear camber kit and then get an alignment so they can adjust it for you there. If you get an alignment, then install camber kit, you will probably need to go back to them for adjustments.

Just about every lowered 3rd gen TL needs a rear camber/toe kit. I'd recommend the INGALLS kit; it includes two arms in a kit (one for toe and one for camber). You need a qty of 2 to complete the rear of the car.

Said it many times, why would someone spend the money for wheels, tires and suspension components and not spend the paltry $160 foe the camber/toe kits, then there is no question when the car is aligned.

Good price BTW!

Camber doesn’t matter as long as it remains within specs. Some TL's with OE suspension are at the camber limits and when the car is lowered, even slightly, the camber is out of spec. Others may be at the low end and when lowered they will still remain within spec. As I said earlier, each car is different and only an alignment will determine if a kit is needed, or install one beforehand and then there will be no doubt that the car can be aligned properly and no irregular tire will be noticed.

Glad you took the time to clear that up!

Yea, I guess this old guy isn't up with the times as I thought it said WEIRD!

As I can't retract my reply, an apology is definitely required, so sorry for the misinterpretation.

Guess I had better take a break for a while.

It's not a problem. No need for a break; your post was informative.
