Arrow Camber kit/ suspension/ exhaust questions

08 NBP base

Excuse the barrage of questions but I figured I'd put them all in one thread.

So I have a set of 8" aspecs I want to put on for the summer and plan on ordering the tein street advanced coilovers from heeltoe.

My question is do I need, or should I order the top hats and bushing that are optional? Will it make the install easier?

Second question is, what brand/brands camber kits give best bang for buck.
I don't really want to shell out $400-500 for camber kits but I also don't want to be chewing through tires either. I don't plan on slamming it, just want to close up the wheel gap.

Third question, would you suggest a small spacer in addition to make the wheels more "flush" if so what size?

Last but not least, I'd like a little more exhaust tone. Anyone who has done the "stage" exhaust mods, can you tell me if the stage 1 mod sounds like a g35 exhaust note in person? It's hard to tell from sound clips, and that's the tone I'm looking for.

Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated!
-Jimmy

Hey man, don't worry about asking questions here. This is one of the friendliest forums around with a lot of great people and lots of info. Also, if you use google and put acurazine at the end of your question, you should get a lot of info from the site. Now to answer some of your questions, as for the top hats, if you have the money for them, it will def make installation easier. If not, just take your time and have patience during the removal and install. As for the camber kits, I think you should be set with just a rear kit. A lot of us here use the ignalls rear camber kit. It allows you to adjust both camber and toe. Now for the spacers, many of us here run 15mm front and 20mm rear when it comes to the stock wheels. It makes it pretty flush and looks good. As for the exhaust tone, I really don't know how the different stages sound being that I have pcd's, j-pipe and a comptech cat back exhaust. I'm sure there are other members that can give some input about it.

Thanks man! So you don't see camber wear on your front tires? I used to build Hondas back in the day (92-95 eg civics) and I would eat through tires like crazy without a kit.

I would get the front skunk 2 camber just to be safe, id rather spend 300 bucks then have to spend a grand on tires. But i was also wondering about the top hat question as well myself

but bluetl04 pretty much hit everything bang on

OP, just be aware that Ingals had an issue with the bushings in their rear camber kits. They've redesigned the bushings, but I haven't heard for certain that it has fixed the issue.

I am not slammed, but I carry a lot of weight (tools) in my trunk, so I'm using the SPC rear camber kit and love it. It can be had for less than $150 shipped and is an easy DIY.

There are a couple of good threads discussing the Ingals issues and Ingals vs SPC in the Tires/Wheels forum.

Thanks man! looking into the full set of spc all around. Any suggested brands on spacers? And can you use them with the existing wheel studs? 20mm in the rear seems like a lot ..

Is this a good price for a all around spc camber kit?

I have lowered 3- 2006-2007 TL's
About -1.5" F&R.
And did not need a camber kit.
The First time I lowered I bought
The Rear camber kit and did Not need it.
