Camber kit/coilovers combo

I know that their are a million suspension post. I was looking at heeltoe's ff coilovers and wanted to know people thoughts. Also wasn't looking for a drastic drop no more then 1.75 all around. Was looking at the camber kit combo that comes with rear toe arms (4) was wondering if that was over kill or if I could get away with the front skunk arms and the rear upper camber kit or if I'd need the Arms also.

I just installed ISC and Ingalls camber adjusters. It went pretty well except for the part ISC doesn't mention that there shocks damper adjuster is already set at 15 so when you go to adjust it to 15 because read about other people settings. And you would assume that it is set at 0 form the start. And after adjusting the damper it locks up internally. Then it cost you $60 from ISC for one new shock.. But that is besides the point. Sorry just venting making sure no one else makes my mistake. But I would recommend ISC so far.

I also recommend you to browse the forums a bit!
I guarantee that ANY and ALL questions that you have, have been answered before.

yes, it takes time to research a bit, but instead of getting like half answers that you're getting here....
you could have already decided which route to go with.

I'm rocking BC coilovers because it comes with more options than most other coilovers.

the BC's, ISC's, and Tien street flex are the only ones worth looking at.

all others are crap.

Tein (Advance & Basis), BC Racing BR, ISC, Megan Racing, HT Spec are some of the more popular coilovers out there - all under $1k. If you're spending a little more Tein Street Flex is supposed to be phenomenal. With the Tein SA & Basis, yes you will need to swap over your top mounts or purchase new ones from Honda/Acura.

Check out the websites for HeelToe Automotive or Excelerate Performance - 2 vendors with great products/pricing and customer service. And as justnspace said, search around acurazine - there is tons of info and reviews on coilovers that will help ya. Hope that helps

Thanks. I know coilovers post are everywhere big most you start reading then it's nothing but rambling. Then you lose interest. After looking at tein it's almost better to get ics. Was looking for under a grand for coilovers and camber kit. But I guess you get what you pay for

^they're known to blow... especially the type 1.

FF's are alluring because of their attractive pricing!
my buddy bought a set new and ended up with blown shocks not too long after he installed it.
he went to type-2's. the type-2's are better, however, my buddy recently took out the type-2's and went to BC coilovers.

It's not a big deal to swap over the the stock top hats if you decide to go the Tein route...don't let that dissuade you - though to be honest I'm like you and would prefer to have everything new. But Tein are quality coilovers and many members have them - so they are a proven commodity. But if you want the whole package - ISC, BC, Megan, HT Spec type II will fit the bill.

Yeah, as far as FF coils are concerned - I just know from what I've read on the forums that there have been some issues with them. Maybe someone can chime in that has first-hand experience with those?

If you are on a budget fnf1 and tein basic are the way go. since you are only doing a 1.75 drop you DO NOT need a camber kit lol

I had fnf1 and I love them the ride quality was great... the only thing I would recommend is stiffen the preload a bit "if you drop it lower than 2.5"...I put 30k on mines lol

If you don't want to drop a lot of money, go with the TEIN Street Basis. They are an awesome setup. They do a great job of providing performance without sacrificing comfort and providing comfort without sacrificing performance.

The TL's come with negative camber from the factory so lowering the car at all will make it worse. Getting a camber kit might not be a bad idea. If you want to spend a little more on the coilovers and get the XLR8 ISC's then I have a great special for you:

I have everything in stock and ready to go.
