Bumper Tab Removal - Headlight Bracket Question

Hey stanced out TL fam. I was going to trim and move my front fender tabs but wanted to know what you all did for the headlight bracket? Is it okay just to cut off?

See the attached in green.

Thanks!

I really doubt the headlight bracket is rubbing your wheels. its the metal tab in question.
these kinds of questions are case by case basis, as your set up is VERY different than mine!

shave a little bit off, then test fit. if still rubs, keep grinding away at metal tab. then test fit. still rubs? keep grinding.
thats the only way you will find out!! !

plus, if you grind away the bracket, how is the head light going to attach?

For Sure justnspace - every case is different. The hard part for mine was I didn't see any noticeable rubbing areas in the wheel well, but did see pieces of my tire being skimmed off.

Since the metal tab and the headlight bracket intersect at the same point, should I just deal with the metal tab and leave the headlight bracket as is? I know the headlights are bolted on via a few front bolts, but didn't want to cut more than I have to.

I think I shaved the tab down as much as I could...which means, it probably ate through a little bit of the bracket

I broke off little bit of the headlight bracket piece, bent the metal tab up and used a ziptie instead of the screw.

yeah, the headlight bracket shouldn't be a problem, only that metal tab piece - i grinded mine down with a dremel, as I was having the same issues of it like peeling my tires, grinded down no more tires issues...
