Bridgestone warranty on nail puncture?
I'm have a difficult time trying to decipher Bridgestone's warranty certificate.
Does anyone know whether the 235/45R17 93W Bridgestone Potenza High-Performance tires come with any semblence of a road hazzard warranty or not?
I just had to mount my spare tire as I picked up a nail, feck.
Thanks in advance for any replies,
David

Here's why I am confused...
This following page states that this tire comes with a Standard Limited Warranty.
http://www.bridgestonetire.com/CA_EN...roductid=1022#
But when I click on the Standard Limited Warranty link and read the entire blurb, it states that the protection does not cover Original Equipment tires where as the above link defines the RE030's as OE tires with a warranty.

Imho...
For the damage by nails, the OEM tire warranty should not be responsible to that kind of accident.
If you purchase any tires out of outside shops and get the additional tire road hazzard warranty into them, yes, you will recieve the new one if accident does happen.
If you get the similar plan for your tires when buying 04TL, you will get the new tire, too.

You should have gotten a booklet in your plastic leather case for the Bridgestone Firestone Tire Limited Warranty. This booklet does not designate any specific tire models, so it is applicable to any original equipment tire.
On page 2, under the big black box that says: What this warranty does not cover, it says in paragraph 1a:
Road hazards, including...puncture..., etc.
In my experience, original equipment tires have never had any road hazard coverage, probably because that always costs extra when you buy new tires and Acura wasn't about to pay for this, not that I blame them.
