Brembo Brakes

Brembo Brakes
60,000 miles on my '04 TL and need new front pads (Brembo).
One dealer said new rotors a 2nd say they can be turned. Interesting, eh?
What are you paying for new pads and are you turning or replacing rotors? Total cost? Alternatives to Acura dealers?
Thanks

I'm fairly sure you could buy some aftermarket upgraded rotors via the forums here. I say fairly cause all of the threads I've seen dealing with this issue are extremely confusing, I'm not sure which ones with work on the AT versus the MT.
Don't feel bad though, I was in the dealership and there was an NSX sitting there getting all 5 Brembo's, pads, rotors, etc all re-done from the ground up, the SA told me it was nearly $10k....OUCH.

The NSX has 5 brakes?
Whether a rotor can be turned usually depends on how close it is to its min and whether or not the dealer wants to even bother explaining to you one way or another. Have you had your brakes changed before? 60k is a lot of miles for the Brembos to last. I didnt bother turning my rotors when I did my pads (only because brake lathe was not working that day)...ask the dealer how far above the min your rotors are.
