Brake dust on wheels

I just picked up a new TL. I currently own a MB E320 that covers the wheels with brake dust. On the MB the brake dust has even pitted the wheels.

I have a 6spd TL with the Bremo (sp?) brakes. Will brake dust be a problem on my TL?

What can be done to make the wheels easier to clean/protect the wheels from discoloring/pittting?

I realize that this is a newbie question but my searches did not really answer my questions.

wipe rims down once per week with cotton rags (i use no chemicals to wipe off dust). even dust guards (if they make them for TL) won't rid dust on the rims, the dust will still show up eventually.

Bright silver painted stock TL wheels really show the dust! One solution might be to replace your front pads with aftermarket low dusting pads, if they become available for Brembos. I had that problem with my G35 and the dealer said thats the price I paid to get the great braking from the Brembos. For Infiniti they used soft compounds and alloys in the pads and rotors which made for heavy dusting. On my 99 Odyssey I used Napa Ceramic pads and matching rotors and brake dust was gone. The other option would be to change your rims. Hyperblack or chrome finish wheels hardly show the dust. My TL has Motegi Hyperblack rims and are great at hiding the dust!
