^personal preference.

what you may like, I MAY NOT LIKE.
and vice versa.

since plastidip is cheap and is reversible, why not pick up two colors.

I've never liked plastidipped rims. Then again I'm not a fan of black on black either.

And it's plastidip, if you don't like the look you can easily peel it off. Go by trial and error.

do what you want to do.

I personally would not like teal or gold plastidip.
but if that's what you like, go ahead.

plastidip is so simple to use.
its easy to peel off.
and its fairly cheap.

so, go ahead. buy your first cans of teal or gold or whatever color you want.
if you dont like it.
peel it off.
use a different color.

Make sure you apply lots of coats, otherwise your plasti dip will be as hard to remove as paint lol

Maybe not as hard, but really difficult.

I don't get why people hate on black on black, it's been done a million times but still looks good. Black PD is the easiest to find, I got it at Lowes and it was cheaper than the other colors, they normally stock black/white/red and blaze blue/orange but they cost more, and glossifier. Black or gunmetal/dark grey will always look good on black.

If you plastidip your wheels, make sure to put index cards around the rim so the dip doesn't spray onto the tires. And if I were you, I'd then put on clear coat or glossifier to make it look more professional. And please peel the dip off of the lug nuts and center cap....otherwise it just looks terrible. You'll need the contrast of the lug nuts and center cap if you do black on black.

^^This...I had a tough time getting it off my grill because it was too thin. Had to use bug & tar remover to get it off.

I did fluorescent Orange. I have a white tl though. I loved the way it looked and I got plenty of compliments but the oranges faded withing 2 or 3 months in the desert sun.

I accidently removed my grille that way lol, drove through a lake region and had huge mosquitos everywhere, went to clean the bumper and noticed my grille was bubbling. But yeah do more coats then you think you need or it won't peel off easy.
