I was wondering if anyone has DMM with black rims or a dark gunmetal. Also what would you guys think of doing a blacked out roof on the DMM. Im just tossing up some ideas with my DMM to loose the old fart look of the color.

Aspec lip kit will be added soon.

I'm pretty sure there is a member here who had black rims with a polished lip on a DDM and the car looked great. There should be a thread called "got DDM" where you'll see a bunch of different styles people apply to this color. Some work, some mehhhh.

^ yeah i have seen that thread before but i didnt see any with the black rims. I think it would look good because the black/gold combo is pretty sick! I like the DMM because not alot of ppl have it the only bad part is that you cant find too many pix of ppl who having doing similar mods that you can reference.

I wanna say that the car I'm thinking of belongs to a modding company and they use it as their "show" car if you know what I mean. Maybe someone else can chime in with more info. I think with DMM, a black roof is a must.

Yeah i think the blacked out roof would look pretty good but it may look dif. on the car than in my head, i dont wanna get it then end up hating it lol

Desert Mist Metallic with dark graphite colored wheels, I think thats as close as your going to get with black wheels here, there isn't too much love with the DMM unfortunately.

Same with me in my head it seems like a good idea but I dont want to spend the time and the money and then be like wtf was I thinking? Now that I have blacked out headlights it is making me think more to just do it and hope for the best lol.

yeah i have seen both of those DMM and they are both bad ass! maybe ill do a combo of both, with the aspec lip, the trunk lip, side markers, headlight and tail light combo from desper, and the Work Wheels from doughboy's setup. I think with the black accents from the wheels, lip kit, and the lights, a black roof would look sick!
