Biggest tire width....

Ok all of you Tire/Wheel mavens out there....Im looking to put 18x7.5" (48mm offset) on the TL-S and want to run 245/40's. I have a concerns that the tires might be a bit wide for 7.5" rims... Anyone know for sure???

245s are too wide for a 7.5" wide wheel.

They may also cause rubbing with a +48 offset

I am running 235 on a 19x8 and I was rubbing in the back so I had to cut some parts out to stop the rubbing so I am guessing if I was rubbing on 235 that a 245 would only be worse

Im thinking 235's.....I think they will work fine on a 7.5 inch wheel. Im going to probably install Tein coilovers too.....

It all comes down to the offset.

I have 245/45/17 on the stock 6.5" wheels and they are great.
