Best tires for a TL-S?
What brand of tires do you guys use?
The standard TL-S Michelins seem okay -- a bit noisy on the road, and I've heard that they could stick a little better. I've been really happy with my BFGoodriches on my Fiero. I can fly through curves without a chirp on those babies. Of course, I can't really tell how much road noise they make, since the tires are drowned out by all the other noise.
So, when the Michelins are done, what would you get to have: Very good (but not necessarily the absolute best) performance, good tread life, and low road noise?

RE730 doesn't seem to offer in 215 size, but I do notice that Toyo Proxes T1-S have 215/50/17 size, and the treadwear is 280 AA A and the tread pattern is very aggressive. Looks like it is just as good as the RE730 in rain.
I'd definitly try those tires if I have a chance!

My GS400 came with Bridgestone Potenza's R030 or something like that. They really made the car handle quite well. When they wore out at 25K, I went with the Michelin Pilot ZGT or whatever and the car never handled the same. With over 20k on the tires they still looked brand new, but my car took a real performance hit in cornering and stopping! I think Michelins are only good for safety and long wear.
