Take a look at the 19" rdx rim thread has lots of discussion on tire size. I would go with the 245/35/19's

I am gonna be running 19x8.5 +35 in the summer but I am gonna go with 235/35/19 tires. I am a little lowered and I went with a narrower tire for a piece of mind. I don't wanna rub

245/35/19's will make the speedometer read 1.7% too slow.

235/35/19's will make the speedometer read 0.6% too slow.

Even though the 245's will be a bit meatier, the 235's will be more accurate, although not by a big margin.

^^i dont think a slighty wider tire is gonna make the speedo read different....i thought it was the tire height that made the difference...and for the op..i would run a 245 on a 8.5in wide rim

1.7% vs. 0.6%. As I stated, it's not much, but it is different. People have done worse.

The height of the side wall is based on the width of the tread and the aspect ratio.

eg 235/35/19 the aspect ratio is 35 or 35% of the tread width 35% of 245 is going to give you a taller side wall.

You're going to want a 265/35/19.

But, what this means is that you're speedometer reading will be 3.9% too slow. When your speedo reads 60mph, you're actually traveling at 62.3mph.

FYI, this is a convenient and legal way to get out of a speeding ticket if you prove that your speedometer was off. Driving with faulty equipment is the legalese

Another FYI, with the low profile tires, you definitely want to get that insurance when you buy the tires, they are at significant more risk of blowing out if you run over something in the road.
