Best shock absorbers for '06 Base TL with stock coil springs

It is time to replace the shock absorbers in my 06 base TL. I am actually going install 07 stock springs and a 07 rear stabilization bar because I was impressed with the feel of the 07 base relative to the 06. I've done plenty of looking around these forums for opinions but they are mostly about lowered rides. Obviously, i'm not currently interested in doing lowering my ride.

How are the Yellow Koni's at the softest setting with stock base springs and would they be worth the $ for me?

KYB GR2, Eibach, Tokico, and Monroe are options too. Has anyone with a stock setup tried more than one?

I'd just like your thoughts about handling, comfort, performance and your overall experience. Please include how many miles you had on the shocks you were replacing because every shock absorber would feel amazing when replacing factory shocks with 100k miles on them.

are you looking for a softer ride or are you looking for a sportier ride without an increase in harshness or a sporty, stiffer ride?

If you are looking for a softer ride, 07 BASE (nav or non-navi) springs and shocks will fit the bill as acura softened the suspension. The RSB is the same for the 2004-2006 Auto as 2007-2008 base.

If you are looking for a slightly sportier ride without an increase in harshness, stick with your stock springs, go with either stock shocks or an aftermarket shock and then go with a Progress or Comptech Rear Sway Bar. The sway bars will better handle IMMENSELY!

If you want a sportier, stiffer ride, it's best you go with a coilover vs. just trying to go aftermarket shocks and stock springs.

Yep, going for a softer ride with the 07 springs and am looking for shock input. What do you think the comptech RSB will do with the 07 springs and koni yellows set to soft for example?

Maybe the 07/08 Base OEM coilovers with better tires and a 24mm rear stabilizer bar.
