Best coilovers for '07 TL with a budget of $1,500?
Im looking at coilovers for my tl and im wondering what were the best coilovers if i have a budget of 1,500$? i heard tein superstreet and H&R are good? im looking for it to be comfortable, better performance, and it to be reliable. any input would be appreciated!

$1500 is more than enough for any of the setups you mentioned. These days, $1000 can get you almost anything you want. The Teins have a reputation for having the best ride quality, but they do not have as much adjustability (damping & height) compared to other brands. Plus Teins don't come with their own top hats so you have to reuse your stock top hats. Just do some more research. There's plenty of coilover threads and helpful vendors here.

Either Tein Street Advance or ISC N1's. I only have experience with teh ISC N1's but they are a really comfortable ride, and you can get them in 3 different springs rates, street comfort (which is what I have), street sport (the standard setup), or track.

1500 is a very generous budget when shopping for coilovers....
couple questions you need to ask yourself to decide which ones you want....
Q1> how much of a drop are you looking at and will you be playing with the drop ???
Ans> If you answer is 1.5-1.75" and will not adjust once dropped....save your $$$ and get springs....
If your answer is 3+ inches then forget coils and get bags....VIP style YO !!!!
If you answer is 2=3" with tucking a little bit, then go to question 2....
Q2> will you be tracking your car ? how comfy do you want to ride ???
Ans> If your answer is NO track time + comfy ride with a decent drop (~2-2.5inches), get some basic coilover with no dampening adjustment....
If your answer is Yes to track time and you would like to change the dampening from city driving to long highway rides then get a coilover with some dampening control....

Based on what you said I would recommend either the TEIN Street Advance or our XLR8 ISC coilovers with the Street/Comfort version. The TEIN coilovers will be slightly more comfortable but have less adjustment in terms of damping and ride height.

Wallet raped by my
I would suggest BC Racing coilovers. They are one of the few that can be rebuilt. Fully adjustable height and dampeners. Also they can be built to order for no extra cost.

I just bought the tein adavnce. really nice product, but dont buy them if you want to drop more than 1.5-2". I like my cars a little lower and wish I would have gone a different route rather than trusting that they actually had a shorter shock body.

ya they go nice and low, but they ride on the bumpstops in front any lower than I said. I have to crank the dampning up to 25+ to not just bounce around with a 2.5(ish) drop. Heres how mine currently sits with the perches raised 1/2" from max drop in front and maxed out in back.
I bought the advances cause they claimed to have a shortened shock body. thier seriously just over a 1/4" shorter than the stock shocks. if I had known that, I would have bought a koni/gc setup, or a real coilover setup. the tein advances are bascally just a shock/sleeve system, no different than any other adjustable shock and a slipon coilover.
I was just hoping that since the advances were the replacement for the SS (which I have installed on lots of different cars), that they would follow suit. on subarus, nissans, toyotas, BMW's, etc, every SS setup I installed was at least an inch shorter shock body, on my integra, the rears were 4" shorter. was just bummed out to see they were basically the same lenght. Wish i would have just sent them back honestly. id gladley sell them if anyone is interested, they have about 260 miles on them. Nice product for sure, just not suited for me and the drops I like.
