BBS RK 17x8 40 offset

1) Any hope of these fitting with 215/50/17 tires on a comptech drop?

2) Would they look any good? I wanted 18's but these are available pretty cheap (used)

No, NO, NO. You won't be able to use these, especially with a Comptech drop. You will need at least a 45+ offset, preferably 48+ or 50+. With a 40 offset you will scrape the tops of the back outside fenders and the fronts will probably rub on the fender lips when you go over speed bumps etc... Sorry to give you bad news...

The one Doraemon selling is 42 offset. Thats why I ask him if those are the one he is selling. If you dont believe me, I have pics to justify.

17x8 +42 will still rub pretty bad. I have 18x8 +50 and I just am inside the wheel well.
