Bad Tires - Helpless !!!!

Anyone found a solution for the bad tires on the early production TL's?

My tires loose pressure and are not round, creating bad vibration at different speeds...

Acura says bridgestone should fix. Briegestone says acura should change it. I , in the mean time, check the pressure everyday and have a car I don;t trust.

If I would have a precedent case where the dealer replaced the tires I could print it and take it to the dealer, who would be more pressured to help.

Someone had this resolved or have some good advice?

Thanks!

Search the forum. There are probably a thousand posts on the tire issue you are speaking of.

take it to the dealer and make them change the tires. if the problem still persists then get to substitute the tires with another brand. its unexceptable to get tires on a brand new car that act this way. as far as tire pressure, i have not heard too much about the el42's having this problem.

I replaced my tires with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, and when Acura came out with the reformulated Bridgestones my dealer and I settled on a partial "goodwill" reimbursement (my net out of pocket was $200 for a much much better set of tires). Acura was only willing to replace the tires, so unfortunately if you want something else you will have to work with your dealer.

Make the dealer change your tires. They can settle the issue with the tire manufacturer later.
