Is it bad to install the AT Aspec suspension kit on a MT TL??

I wouldn't say bad, but the auto a-spec is rated for the increased weight of the transmission, vs. the manual that is intended to handle less weight.
I could've put the manual suspension on my auto TL lowering it even further. To do the opposite, I would guess, may actually, at least, keep it at stock height. As I'm writing this I'm thinking that it may actually do the opposite as far as handling goes as well, probably not good. Just thinking out loud.
