Question axis Ne-O 19x8 w/+45 offset fit?

i have a question. Would the Axis neo fit the TL-S in 19x8 w/ +45 offset. Does the back of the wheel spoke clear the brake caliper? I was going to get the RH C2 evo's but i notice poeple said somthing about the back of that spoke will touch the caliper.

Looks like it should be ok. A trial fit would tell for sure.

I have 19X8 wheels with a 51mm offset... 1.75 lowered in front and back... and they had to do a (very subtle) cut in the rear bumper on both sides... not noticable at all and I have NO rubbing at all, even with people in the back seat... With a 45mm, I think there would be problems.

Too bad though... cause I really like those wheels.

Hey MotionEffects I've been looking at those same 2 rims myself!!! and what I've come up with is the NEO's if you can get them in our bolt pattern 5x114.3 w/ a +45 not a +40 then they will be just enough!!! YES they will clear the calipers no prob but if you don't want to cut your fenders you can take the rims to a reputable wheel shop and have them shave off +3mm to make them +48 which is perfect even with 235-35-19!!! That's what I'm going to do when I get back to work and have sum $$$ coming in again If you go with the C2's then your going to have to cut everything (from what I've heard) and It's just not worth the probs. but those are DOPE rims and it is your car? If U get them plz post pics!!!

Hey phat32, is300eater has Work rims

If you want a pic on a car go to SEARCH and put in AXIS NEO and look at a 1st gen TL. Still looks PIMP, and should look even better on our TL-S :p

Ever heard of "Work" wheels? It's a Japanese company that has been compared to HRE wheels. Most, or all of their wheels are made to order. They are rare, and NOT cheap. My wheels are "Rezax IIs" by Work 19x8 51mm offset 3 piece, FORGED.

http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/...2/rez-2_2.html

Sorry I don't have any pictures of my car on line. but click above for the company's website (click on "index" for other wheels)... please browse through and check out all the wheels/cars... there are some awesome cars on the site, especially the Supra... (click below) Each wheel has a "matching" page for sizing/offset, it's in Japanese, but you can figure it out (FYI, they don't have Acuras in Japan, all cars are under the "Honda" lable). There's a wheel in there that's got a 57mm offset (19x7.5)!!! http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/.../vssd2_1.html#

http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/...r/mst2r_1.html

p.s. if you have "The Fast and The Furious" on tape or DVD, the exact same wheels are on the yellow car... I'm NOT sure what kind of car it is.... cause it's so modded... I think it's some kind of Nissan.

OK I love that rim but how much does it cost? How much to ship and how do I get a hold of them?

I did a little math... (this is according to the prices from the website in Japanese Yen)

18" is 65,000 Yen which is converted to approx. $553.00 US (each)
19" is 80,500 Yen which is converted to approx. $685.00 US (each)

I did mentioned that "Work" wheels are NOT cheap. Then again, in America, no one pays retail... I don't know about Japan. I was lucky and got mine used... (they were in perfect condition).

As far as getting them... I might be able to get a hold of the guy I got them from... He's got connections. If you are really serious, let me know... otherwise, for that kind of money, I'd go with HRE wheels (made in USA, so if you have problems... it's easier to deal with than dealing with a company that's virtually un-known here, and HRE wheels are awesome to begin with).

is300eater thanks for all your help. Is there a web site for HRE wheels and do they have the high off set like the Works wheels?

www.hrewheels.com

I don't think they have a "matching" page in their website (not like "Work" wheels' anyway)... but from what I was told... HRE will make every wheel to fit your car... as long as they have the specs to the car... and they, pretty much have all the specs to every car made. So you don't have to worry about their wheels NOT fitting (from HRE)... unless you buy them used from someone that came off a different kind of car.

Someone once told me this analogy... buying HRE wheels directly from them, is like having a suit made just for you from Armani with your personal measurements vs. buying off the rack and having alterations done to fit you. Just like the Armani suit analogy.... with HRE wheels, you get what you pay for.

If you like Kens (IS300Eater) wheels but dont have the cash to throw down on Work wheels, you might look at Konig Imagine wheels also. They make the Imagine in a 19X7.5 that fits our bolt pattern. I have the Imagine in 18's and i get lots of compliments. Here is a pic:
