Has any put these on their TL yet??

Its got amazing ratings from tirerack.com
Rank Top in the grp for ultra-high proformance all-season tires.
I am switching to new tires from the stock Michellin Pilot(Ranked 3rd on List).

Want to know if these avon tech are really that good as the rating say they are.
The are price very reasonable.

The TL does not come stock with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. It comes with the grand touring Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 which is terrible in comparison. No idea about the Avon tech though.

I think poster "TennisJon" put Avon M550's on his TL; he had a tire review and some comments in a thread here maybe three months back. Try a search.

My buddy and I both have 04 TL's. I did a lot of research one night here and on Tirerack and we went with the Avons. You can go back a find some of my threads. After about 3 months with them on, they have been a very good tire. Nothing out of the ordinary. The ride is the same, no noticable noise or vibrations. But this weekend was the real test. For the past 3 days, the East coast has been deluged with rain. Today I drove to work and home from work in unbelievable downpours. The Avons cut thru the water and puddles like a knife. I was extremely happy with their performance. The car felt safe the entire time. I'd definitely recommend them. I paid $590 total including installation..great price. The guys who put them on said they were a great tire, and they wished they were an Avon dealer. I'd get them agian.
