The wheels are ATS Planets size 17x7 with a +42 offset. Have you heard anything about them? The tire size would be 215/50 X 17. Will this combination fit on a 99' TL with H&R Sport Springs? The salesman at my local Discount Tire Center says this combination will fit on my car(he knows its lowered).
I calculated the difference in diameter to be only -0.221" here-->http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
This difference could be considered the difference between a new and worn tire. Right?
I'm worried about the low offset though... Please Help!!!

SE,
I also like those rims and considered them. Funny how we both like them and we both have Laguna. I have done a little research on them, and I am a little concerned about the low offset. I would consider them, but am concerned that the design may have problems with the brakes location and the offset will put it in a bad spot for rubbing.
Sorry that I could not give you the thumbs up, but perhaps they will work fine for you. If you decide to try it, let us all know and post pics!! Good Luck.
