Aspec suspension + which wheel+rim specs?
My one of my ksports blew out on me about a month ago... and I cant justify having my car dropped with the horrible roads of nj/ny. My back has had enough and Im done with cringing my teeth whenever i hit a nasty pothole. And I sold my 2.2.1 varrstoens
SO I am going to pick up the aspec suspension, maybe put some new springs on it later. BUT I still want a decent look. I just want a good balance of form+function. So which rim sizes + wheel specs will help me achieve this ongoing goal? Or am i asking for too much lol

Why did you sell your 2.2.1s? I would've wanted them!
Sounds like you are asking for the holy grail, but I'm sure it's doable. Are you sure you don't just want to raise your ride height on the coils and soften the damping? It would probably still look better then the a spec suspension, which still seems to be kinda high up front.

My advice to still have a good looking drop and keep ride quality is to get Tein S Tech springs and nice shocks.
As for wheels I think to have the best of both worlds, stick with 18's. They look great and tire sidewall isn't super thin so it retains more of the ride comfort than 19's would.
For decent specs that look nice and aren't super aggressive, I'd get at least an 18x8.5 or 18x9 and do +30 with a 225/40 tire.

My ksports are adjustable but I might potentially sell the car soon so I want to at least get the aspec suspension.

I have A-Spec suspension on my TL-S. It's still pretty stiff and personally wouldn't want to go any lower for the roads around here and in Niagara Falls, NY where I frequently go. The wheels are TSW Nurburgring 18x8 +35 with 245/40/18 tires. No spacers or fender work was done.

if you are planning to buy a wheel that is lightweight (flow-formed) instead of cast, then given the potholes I would recommend something with at least 7 spokes as that will give you the greatest overall strength to prevent bending a rim.

Holy crap, you weren't kidding about aggressive! probably looked sweet tho!
Yea, Jon2000's is probably my favorite car on a-spec suspension that i can think of. A similar setup would probably yield exactly what you are looking for.
Also - S-Techs might be lower than you want to go. Maybe check out H&R Sports instead, like I Love Cars has (maybe had?).

I don't blame you. Even when I was on s techs, I found myself constantly watching for dips in the road. Now that I'm on my tein SAs and bit higher than the s techs were, driving is much more relaxing. Part of it tho was my worry that I would blow my stock shocks, as well as not wanting to scrape my front lip.
