Hey guys i was wondering if anyone has bought thier rims from wheelmax.com, or does anyone know if they are a reliable wheel distributor cause some of their prices are so much lower than the other places I was lookin at, just kinda seems too good to be true.


P.S. Anyone have any rubbing or any other problems w/ 18"s and H&R Sport Springs on a 2001 tl?

 

I DID, THEY TOOK ONE WEEK LONGER THEN PROMISED AND THE RIMS CAME WITH 4 SMALL MARKS ON EACH LIP DUE TO THE MOUNTING MACHINE, BUT THEY DENIDED IT. THEY ALSO CLAIM TO BALANCE THE WHEEL, BUT WHEN I GOT THEM HOME THEY WERE SO OFF BALANCED THAT MY STEERING WHEEL WAS SHAKING LIKE CRAZY. HAD TO GO REBALANCE COST ME 40 BUCKS.

 

Which wheels are you looking to buy. I had a bad experience with Wheelmax as well. Ordered a set of Giovanna Kyotos in 18.7.5 +45 offset. They sent me +40 offset and claimed that's what I told them, then they said that's all they had. Returned them for a full refund and bought a set of Racing Hart C2s from Tim here at http://www.autocaparts.com


Moral of the story...you get what you pay for. Buy from Tim and be guaranteed to get what you want, but more importantly, what you need.
