Anybody hear of Varrstoen wheel co.?

I was just browsing some forums and came across these...

http://varrstoen.com/blog/

Scroll down to see different color options.

Obviously they're reps of Volk TE37s. Seems to be a pretty legit company tho and the wheels seem to be of good quality - VIA and JWL certified.

Even though they are replicas of a Japanese made wheel, I wouldn't "look down" on them like I would Rotas. I think these are of much better quality than Rotas, or even Linea Corse. And many have rocked the BBS LMs replica Linea Corse Lemans.

So what does everyone think about these?

Are their prices per wheel or a set of four?

^^Four

They're offering some colors as well, and they're actually powdercoated instead of painted.

that seems like the price of 1 wheel man. Go to cart and put in quantity of 4

it's actually a set of 4! pretty awesome pricing

i was initially going to buy a set but found a better deal for my current wheels so i passed. plus the size i was looking for (18x9, +25?) won't be in stock until march or so i believe (according to what ib18c1 said when he called them)

these def are one of the better TE reps I've seen. They even have the two bevels on the valve stem area like the volks! really hard to distinguish from the real thing. The 18x8.5s are the only ones that do not look like real TEs...all the others do. I beleive its 1400 if you wanted the 19" powdercoated to any color or 1200 for the 18s

Yeah the 18s don't really look good, but I just cannot get over the resemblence in the 19".

The only thing that will give them away from the real thing is that on the real TEs, the inner lip reads "Forged Monoblock" and "Made in Japan."

Other than that, they're clones.

Meh

It will run you $2K with tires delivered for 19s....... their specs won't even fit our cars for the 19s.
18x8 +35 or 18x9 +15 are the only options for 18s, and knowing you, you would never opt for the 18x9 +15.
My mentality is, save up and be patient and get the real deal so you can have more options with sizing and finish.

But I guess if I had to choose a volk rep co., it would be these

I emailed them, they said they would have 19x8.5 +35 / 9.5 +35 by sometime in June.

This has nothing to do with having the money or "saving up," it's a question of whether or not I really want to spend ~$2800 just on wheels alone.

And you don't know me

This will fit our cars
