Need tires for my 19's before summer hits, and was doing some searching. I currently have on them the General Exclaim UHP, which was a great tire for $127 in a 245.35.19, but not optimal.

On tireracks website, the General is rated #1 in the Ultra High Performance Summer Category.

Also on tireracks website, the RE050 PP is rated #1 in the next category up of Max Performance Summer.

I had them on my S2000 and really liked them, but it has been a while since I drove that car (almost 2 years now) and I just dont remember how grippy they actually were.

Does anyone have any experience with these on the TL, and if so, what are your thoughts? For that matter, what would you guys reccommend in general for a high performance summer only tire, without spending $300 + per tire!
