Any experience with Falken Ziex Ze 912
Has anyone bought Falken Ziex Ze 912 tires for 05 TL? What do you think of them? Noise, longevity, traction (dry, wet, light snow)? thanks.

There are other better rated tires with probably better tread life, but I guess I'll see how long these last.

I look at Consumer report (Nov 07 issue) and they rate these tires #1.
I am going to buy them this weekend. There is a $100 discount at www.discounttiredirect.com for a set of 4 until 10/20/2007.

I received and mounted them on Saturday. 4 for my wife's jetta and 4 for my TL. So far, they are great:
* great handling (on dry pavement), will have snow pretty soon here in MN
* road noise is minimal
* looks good
* still some vibration when tires are cold but issue disappear quickly after a couple minutes
So far tires are good, I will recommend for everyone who is looking for new tires.

Consumer Reports rates these tires poor in the snow and for tread life.
As a former Falken owner, the 512's weren't bad, but I still recommend the new Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons. So far, I find their performance superior to the Falkens in every way.
Falken Ziex 912's are rated 360 A A
Eagle F1 All Seasons are rated 420 AA A, hence longer tread life and better bad weather traction.....where safety counts most.
