(Another) WheelMax thread...

I've searched and read how members haven't had pleasant experiences with WheelMax. This did seem to be some time ago.

Therefore, has anyone purchased from them in the past three months or so? If so, how was your experience?

Did anyone get Exel rims? If so, what are your impressions of them (quality, etc.)?

Also, should I be concerned with any fitment issues if I keep my stock tires but go to a larger wheel width? From 17x6.5 to 17x7 on the 215/50/17s. I'm assuming, of course, the offset will have a lot to do with potential fitment issues.

Thanks.

Make sure to check out the offset as well. As for wheelmax, they have great prices, but the reviews are mixed with members here.

LOL.

As I was editing, you were responding about the offset. (Look at the times of your post and my edit.)

Thanks for the info.

i think if you asked that question a year ago, there would be some harsh hatin' words, but i think they've turnned things around a bid with better customer services and a new location too.

It kinda seems that way. Their web-site also has a location in Las Vegas so they seem to be expanding.

Just wondering if anyone has purchased from them recently...

I've heard from people that they NEVER have anything in stock and that they try to push items that they have already in stock, etc...and they would sell you stuff that doesn't fit...just be careful and FIRM on what you want.
