another alignment question....

i just purchased a 05 TL and i noticed that the LEFT side (front and rear) tires are rounded on the OUTSIDE. could this be an alignment problem that can be corrected at Acura under warrenty?? the car has 29,0xx miles on it and shouldnt be having alignment problems at this mileage....

How rounded are they? If they are extremely worn out compared to the rest of the tread, you might have an alignment problem.

If it's just rounded, probably the original owner took a lot of right turns at high speed (freeway ramps and the like).

Alignment problem can appear at anytime. If your car only has xxxx miles, doesn't mean it won't be having an alignment issue. Alignment changes as the car ages and puts more miles. Major potholes, accidents, compressed rubber bushings, all these things affect alignment.

did u just get this car? if they are still the (crappy) original stock tires they are probably just about due to get replaced. check to see how close the tire treads are to the wear bars. if u get new tires and an alignment i doubt u would have a problem in the future...just keep checking the tire wear every so often afterwards.

It's not a warranty item, rather it's part of maintenance. I think the manufacturer will only cover alignment for the first 12k miles or 12 months.
