Angry Analyzing Alignment Results

Car: 2006 Acura TL 5AT
Suspension Mods: H&R Sport Springs, Koni Adjustables
Wheels: XXR 530 18 x 8.75 +33 all around
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position 235/40/18

I was hoping to avoid purchasing rear camber kits since the drop with the H&R Sports weren't that aggressive (1.4" F / 1.3" R) but after my alignment, do you think my rear camber is too far out of spec? I recently just installed this wheel/tire setup on Monday and I wanted to prolong the life of these tires - here's why.

Previously, I had Sevas S-Stars 19x8.5/19x9.5 staggered fitment rolling on stock suspension with Falken FK452 tires. After a year, I had really bad cupping on the inner rear tires only even after a wheel alignment. So I bought another set of Falken FK452's, aligned the wheels at a different shop and after a year, cupping in the inner rear tires only again. Most people said that my suspension must be bad. So I bought the H&R Sport Springs and the Koni Yellows, and also bought a set of Hankook Ventus V12's instead, got the wheel alignment. After 1.5 years, I also started have inner rear tire cupping once more. Keep in mind, alignment was only done once a year and tires were never rotated because of staggered fitment.

So here I am now, new wheels, tires, and pretty much new suspension. Attached is my alignment results. I want these tires to last longer than a year WITHOUT cupping. Everyone says cupping is due to bad wheel alignment, poor shocks, damaged suspension parts, etc. I've checked it all out and seem to still get cupping. Will a camber kit help fix this problem? Sorry for the long read.

Getting a rear camber kit will get your specs into the recommended range. Look into Ingalls and SPC. The other specs look great!

It was the toe in that created my cupping issues on the rear... Once I set it to zero (not total) on both sides it went away. Also set the toe with the normal ammount of weight in the trunk. Eg. If the majority of the miles are highway with luggage add weight. The toe toll change with ride height.

Toe should be set at zero, both sides, sheet indicates rear setting is only a very, very, slight toe out .06/.03 degrees which shouldn't be a problem, before .09 out/-.05 in, also in my opinion any camber outside factory specs should be corrected. Toe will certainly chew up the tires before a camber problem, but camber will cause uneven tread wear, but slower.

After spending money on shocks, springs, alignments, new tires, etc, a few hundred for the rear adjustable bars is money well spent. Have them installed, then another alignment, get camber in spec and toe at zero.

Your tire wear is probably coming from toe, not from camber. -2 degrees is not THAT aggressive.
