am I reading this right?

ACURA TL 6SPD SEDAN 2004-2004

STOCK: 235/45-17 93W BRIDGESTONE 17X8.0 ALLOY +45mm offset 5-114.3 64.1hub bore 12X1.5 NUT 19MM HEAD

COMMENTS: IDEAL FITMENTS:
17X8 35-40ET W/ 235/45-17
18X8 35-40ET W/ 245/40-18
19X8.5 40-45ET W/ 245/35-19

MAX TIRE WIDTH: 265 MM
MAX TIRE HEIGHT: 26.30 MM
MAX WHEEL WIDTH: 9.0 INCHES
WIDTH OFFSET WIDTH OF TIRE
7.0 +18/+65 215/225
7.5 +25/+65 215/225/235
8.0 +31/+63 225/235/245
8.5 +37/+56 235/245/255
9.0 +44/+50 245/255/265
does this mean, I can buy a wheel, that is 19X8.5 with a +38 offset and it will clear the brembos (I have 6MT) and not stick outside the fender?

I'm looking at Axis Milano's which I have heard come in 19X8.5 +45 (ideal fitment) but if i can go to +38 then i can get deeper lip action...
I will be lowering the car 1" max and would like to go with a 245 width tire

the Milano

I suggest you first, get the car lowered, then do a test fitting. I think that with 8.5" wide wheels and a +38 offset and 245 tires you'd most likely rub but you won't know for sure unless you try them.

+ 45 shouldn't be a problem. Are you sure those wheels will clear your calipers? I'd give Axis a call to make sure. By the way, I used to shop at Axis when it was just a small tuner shop in Anaheim. They sure have moved up the world.

Actually... called Axis after I made this post because I see they have another wheel I like better... AND its made for cars that have a bigger brake application... to top it off, its available in +45 offset

Axis Hiro (I have an anthracite car)
