Alignment quality
Alignment quality
I've been in an 18 month experiment with Sullivan Tire here in Keene, NH to find out why my tires (Mich AllSPort) are chopped and not improving. He's been aligning and checking and rotating, etc., and came to the conclusion that the rear alignment, while barely in spec, is causing the problem. He said there's no adjustment he can make that can correct the problem.
Next stop: Dealer (Sunnyside, Nashua, NH). They align and get results that show significant improvement, and suggest that the Sullivan Tire equipment is not up to the job, or that Sullivan has an outdated set of specs.
Up to now, everyone has been friendly and (I think) helpful and giving it a good effort. I'm headed back to Sullivan next week to share Sunnyside's results and input.
Anyone had a problem similar to this or have any advice?

Is that the only machine that should be used?
There is a TSB regarding the rear suspension on the '04 and some '05s. Perhaps it affects you. See linked PDF:
