Alignment issue
Alignment issue
I got new tires about a year ago, they have about 12k miles on them. Also I just recently got an alignment a couple weeks ago because I noticed my car was pulling to the right (for some time, could have been a big pothole or two I've hit over time), enough for me to have to use a muscle or two in my arm to hold the steering wheel at a very slight tilt to keep it going straight.
After the alignment it was a little better, for a couple days, then back to the pulling to the right like before. (I went to Firestone and have the unlimited alignments so I have no problem going back)
Know what this could be? I'm thinking it obviously must be something.. control arm? Tie rod?

Any uneven tire wear? First I would swap the front tires to see if the pull is still there or pulls to the left, unless you have directional tires in which case I would swap the front to the back. If still there, the alignment tech (I use that term loosely) should be able to check to see if the alignment is out of specs and if so look for possible damaged suspension parts, but if alignment dead on, look elesewhere. Brakes can cause a pull if the caliper isn't releasing, but I'm sure you'd notice that as the pads would certainly heat up on the affected corner.
I wouldn't even think of uneven alignment. They only have 12k miles on them and have gotten them aligned every 4-5k miles. But I guess that could be a factor
. Also, I just replaced my calipers and pads a few fews ago and this alignment issue was going on before that so I doubt it is that.
I guess best thing is to go get another alignment and have the person print the spec sheet out for me. If I notice everything is fine with the alignment itself, I will have to look elsewhere.

This could also be a possibility:
