'98-'02 Accord springs vs 3G TL springs

Before you flame me, and tell me to search the forum, and whatever else usually comes with these type of questions, I've spent almost an hour and a half trying to find the answer to this question. So bare with me.

Anyway, do ALL 98-02 Accord lowering springs fit 3G TLs? I've seen a few people mention spring rates, etc. At this point, I'm more confused than I was when I first started.

I could be mistaken but I've never read anything that states 98-02 Accord springs can fit on 3G TLs. Could you provide where you found that information?

For a point of reference, I used TEIN S-Tech springs to do my research. Other springs from other manufacturers may work differently but I cannot speak on their behalf. You'll have to research those manufacturers if you want to use their product.

From the sites I've looked at, the 98-02 S-Tech springs ONLY fit the 98-02 Accord while the 04-08 TL S-Tech springs fit both the 03-07 Accord coupe and sedan.

It also looks like the spring rates are different. The cars have different overall weights, most likely causing the change in spring rates.

98-02 Accord TEIN S-Tech springs:
Front: 5.3 kgf/mm, 297 lbs/inch
Rear: 3.2 kgf/mm, 179 lbs/inch

04-08 TL TEIN S-Tech springs:
Front: 5.5 kgf/mm, 307 lbs/inch
Rear: 3.5 kgf/mm, 196 lbs/inch

Even if the springs can fit, your car may be lower or higher than expected because of the different spring rates and the actual weight of the car.

To save yourself a headache, I would try to find a set of springs specifically for the TL. That way there are no questions to be had

It was actually a valid question that hadn't been discussed before, unlike most of the shit posted in the 3G section nowadays.
