8mm spacer fine to use with stock lugs?

I am just looking to move my current front wheels out a little bit.

Just wondering with the plain style spacer if 8mm or even maybe 10mm leaves plenty of threads still?

Thanks,

Definitely not. A 5mm spacer is the thickest you can use safely with the stock studs (not lugs).

Even with a 5mm spacer, you get significantly less turns to tighten the lugs down...I can't imagine what another 3mm would do.

Ok, so either longer studs or spacers with the bolts.

Or new rims!

Thanks,
