3G TL Type-S (Non-Apec): Do these tires fit my car?

Hi all,

Was wondering if the following would fit an 07 TL-S Non-Aspec:

5x114 Bolt Pattern
18x8.5 +20F&R

If so, were going to pick up the wheels next week.
Thanks!

That will depend on the wheel, the tires and the amount of lowering (if any).

I have 18x8" 235/40R18 all around on stock ride height, and I find that a +30mm offset is perfect for the front (tires flush with fenders), and a +17mm offset sticks out a little in the back.

8.5" +20 will extend an additional 3mm compared to 8" +17. I know that if my front wheels had the same offset as my rear wheels, they would stick out a ton, but this may change after I lower it.

Use this site to compare offsets.

The only way to find out for sure is to try it.

I just noticed this post. This setup has similar offsets. He is maxed out on Tein SS.

10" +38 is 1mm more extended than 8.5" +20

But I wonder if 8.5" +20 will stick out too much up front.

If this is the case, then I'm guessing these won't fit?

Stock Suspension
2 x 19x9.5
2 x 19x10.5
Tires size is 275/30/19

What are the offsets of those wheels? Are you planning on lowering it in the future? And are you willing to roll your fenders? My setup rubs in the rear with the 18x8" +17 with 235/40R18 on the stock suspension, so I'm going to have to roll my rear fenders soon.

You might want to check out the wheel & tire threads for some examples too.
